  • Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) - New Provider Orientation

    Licensed child care providers participating in the CACFP receive partial reimbursement for healthy meals and snacks meeting the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) meal pattern.   • Healthy Apple - Healthy Apple is a FREE program for child care educators to assess their nutrition and physical activity practices, get support to make improvements, and be recognized for meeting best practices that promote lifelong healthy habits.

    Healthy Apple recognizes achievements by issuing awards to child care providers who make improvements and reach their goals. Healthy Apple also supports child care providers by conducting free workshops on a variety of healthy eating and physical activity topics.
