Supporting Social-Emotional Development Part 1: Understand Emotions, Expressions and Feelings- Learn how to help children understand their feelings and emotions; support children's emotional development; and promote social-emotional development.

A child’s social-emotional development shapes their sense of self, influences how they learn, and fosters meaningful relationships. It drives communication, connection, and conflict resolution, building the confidence and resilience needed to achieve goals. A strong social-emotional foundation in childhood sets the stage for lifelong happiness and the ability to navigate stress and challenges as adults.
